What’s your set-up?
Soul Purpose is a 7 Piece Band with professional Sound System & Lighting available for live performance at your event.
What time do you get there at?
Typically for an evening event we are on site by 7:30pm and will coordinate our set-up/performance with you and venue personnel to best work around your schedule on the evening. *
What time do you start to play?
Music starting times may vary depending on the progress of your event, we are flexible and will be on site in plenty of time, typically we start between 9:00pm - 10:30pm and finish between 11.30pm - 1:00am we will work around your schedule on the evening.
How long do we play for?
You are contracting us to perform for 2½ hours which includes a 15min break. We do not include our rig set-up and takedown in this performance time.
We have a special song, can you play it?
Yes, as part of our service if there’s one special soul song that you want played let us know in advance of the night and we can rehearse it and add it to the list (typically a first song)**. Or alternately if the first song is a particular rendition from a specific artist we can play the CD. If you want several specific tracks not in our set, it’s best to leave that to the DJ.
What songs do you play?
We work from our existing set list. If you would like to see us perform why not contact us so we can arrange free tickets for an upcoming show. We are experts at “reading the crowd” and we always maintain a high level of entertainment modifying our set on the fly to suit the mood of your guests.
Do you travel outside Leinster?
We are available to perform nationwide, there may be a modest fee to cover travel/accommodation if required.
What do you wear?
Our dress is formal black.
Do we supply / recommend a DJ?
The only DJ outfit we recommend is “Pro DJ’s” they work nationwide & they’re friendly and professional. Contact Dave (087 2652788) or visit www.prodjs.ie.

What about cancellations?
We do not require a cancellation fee or balance of payment however your initial deposit is non-refundable. Please notify cancellations in writing to Jessica Kavanagh, 36 Boyne Court, Harolds Cross, Dublin 6w, Co.Dublin.

* It’s rarely requested but if there is a requirement to set-up our rig early in the daytime well before the event commences, there will be an additional charge associated with this service.
** To play a special first song not on our list, advance notice would be required, in our experience being prepared makes for a more professional performance and a more enjoyable night for your guests.
